the music i downloaded from iTunes can't be seen and played in VDJ …. why is it?

Why? Because the music is rented - it's not yours. Therefore it's protected against misuse by DRM, so cannot be played in anything other than Apple's own software.
On the other hand, if you buy the music, you can play it anywhere.
