Hi Everyone.
I bought the Pro version for our in house DJ here in Liberia. He is doing brilliantly with it. However two three nights a week we have a Karaoke session. We used Karma Karaoke as our go to program. However after an issue with their customer support I started to really look at Virtual DJ as our main Karaoke program as well. I am mightily impressed.
Our Karaoke host also sings quite a lot along with another girl. They do like a set each. They use the Karaoke backing tracks and other backing tracks loaded into Virtual DJ. Its great. What I would like is to be able set up play lists for each of them and IF... (big if) possible have them control when a song starts using a basic foot switch on stage. So sing song, do some chat or introduction then start the next song themselves when ready. This rather than have someone else on stage or wherever waiting for the cue or even missing the cue.
Is this at all possible?
Thanks

It can work with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbgO6pOK3CA
Just make a playlist and use automix (dont forget to use the settings with no mixing songs).

If you manually want to start songs the karaoke mode is a better choice than automix, since you only need to press play after each song to start the next one.
To do this remote, you could check out the VDJ Remote app for android or iOS, or perhaps there are foot switches with usb that can be mapped to a specific keyboard button.
