running a 2011 MBP, mixing video, I have the annoying white bar at the top of my video, I've gone to the system preferences/mission control and unchecked "displays have separate spaces" logged out and back in, the bar is gone in the desktop, but is appearing on my projected video, it doesn't seem to make a difference if I'm running video or shader on audio only tracks.

what worked for me was after you open VDJ go to the output window.
1) right click
2)and pick window first
3) then go back to fullscreen

one of my other DJ's had this issue he would just click on the output window close it and reopen it and it went away i do not know if this will help but you can try
