Have to re-analyze music and reset cue points every time I restart my laptop. Using Windows 7 Ultimate and Current Version of VDJ8. I use an external usb3.0 hdd.

By Cue points, you mean HotCues ?
So, if you load a track, set a HotCue, close VDJ, re-open and load the same track, the Hotcue is not there ?
If not there, it means that VirtualDJ could not write to the Database, which for tracks from an Ext HD is located to the /virtualdj folder in your Ext Hard Drive. This can happen if your HD has Write protection or the OS User doesnt have write permissions.
