I really enjoy the DJ2GO2. For small, or simple gigs it does just about everything I need it to do. What I am lacking is the ability to use my SM58. I see in v8.2 b4064 there is a "MIC VOL" in the "MASTER" Tab... however... I am not sure how to go about getting my SM58 to work properly with it. Is there a basic XLR to USB adapter that will work for this? Suggestions welcome. Thank you for your time.

A converter cable is probably not enough, because you need a pre-amp and a analog to digital converter to go from mic to USB
Shure makes one:

Another option is to use the mic input on your laptop. That has what is needed, but nomally at a pretty low quality. If you go that route you just need converter cables to mini -jack
But if you don't want the record or broadcast the mic, and therefore don't need for it to ever be available inside the laptop/software, a cheap mixer, where you use a stereo channel for your master out (before the PA), and a mic channel for the mic, may be the best choice. Something like this:

If you want very simple effects on your mic, and can get over the fact that it's a behringer, this may also be an option
https://www.amazon.com/Behringer-QX602MP3-BEHRINGER-XENYX/dp/B015HBZSYO
It can also play mp3s from a USB drive as backup

Thank you! I have ordered the XLR to USB cable, I also own a sub mixer, and I see it has a USB output so I am going to how that works, All I really need to do is be able to do some basic MCing while I performing live during a fund raiser. have a great day!
