Hi guys, would it be possible for someone to help me please? I have been using the free vdj 8. 2 on and off for a few years now. Now my youngest isn't hogging the laptop I've started mixing again. I guess naturally I wanted to step things up so I bought the Numark mixtrack 3 which came with vdj le. I didn't think the sound quality was that good and also I wanted to use headphones so I came across the Numark dji02 sound card. I also bought creative A250 2.1 speakers which I ASSUMED!!! went into the sound card..... Yeah check me out!!!! I thought!! Thing is my ego always gets crushed!! Sorry back on subject... You see there is no way for speakers to connect to the sound card? Is there anyone who is familiar with this set up who could give me some advice. Sorry to sound very vague but I am a technical bumpkin!

check out page 2 - https://www.numark.com/images/product_downloads/DJiO_Quickstart_Guide_v1.5.pdf
you may need an adapter to make the connection.

Thanks wickedmix. Checked it out but it's for the dj io not the dj io2. On the latter the main output is only 1 left and 1 right. On the creative A250 2.1 speakers one goes into the subwoofer. The other speaker also goes into the subwoofer and there is another wire to the laptop. The connections to the subwoofer are different to the numark dj 02????
Any ideas of what adapter I'd need? Thank you

Yes there is a way. You'll need to buy an adaptor cable.
The DJIO has RCA sockets for the 'main out', but the speakers you've bought have a 3.5mm jack plug (because they're designed to plug into a computer). Buy a cable that has two RCA plugs at one end, and a 3.5mm jack socket on the other.
