Hello VDJ-community,
I was wondering if it is possible to change the beatgrid on the fly.
Especially for older rock songs it is very painful to use the BPM editor. Is there a way to change it on the fly? Like when I tab the bpm it automatically sets beatgrid anchors or so?

I don't think you can stretch or warp tempo/time for older tunes like you can do in Ableton Live as a pre-prossing that changes the actual track
But yes, tab 4+ times changes the grid to your tabs (but for the whole track)
And if you tab once while stopped/paused/cued, it sets the main marker in the place you're currently at
You can also fine adjust the markers by mapping "adjust_cbg -0.01" and "adjust_cbg +0.01" to two buttons
And then there is the new "Re-analyze - Muiti BPM" feature, where the analyzer can devide a track into sections with different BPM's
That's not so much for older tunes where the tracks isn't totally in time, but more for tunes that actually changes BPM during the song - like becomes faster in the end
You get to that feature by clicking the little dot in the BPM editor
