In that case the Spotify plugin isn't really any use as the loading is just too slow. As I said before there's no chance of the track being fully loaded and analyzed because the previous track would be finished first.

I first trialed Spotify to test with djay Pro, and it works like a champ. I had hoped the same for VDJ. Seems we could have either,
the ability to cache files or experience a better load time. Is not enjoyable for home use through VDJ.

With all the new features, is there any explanation of how some of them work?
For the "Lookup empty year and genre from discogs in tag editor using option button"
I do not see any options button to try and look up year and genre.

And for "New filter word: duplicates"
How does this work.
 
The discogs option is on the button beside the file name in tag editor.

I agree for new features there should be an "expanded" changelog explaining what they are and where to find them.
 
Never thought of trying that one.

You just create a new Filter Folder and write .. duplicates as Filter, and the Filter Folder will gather all of your duplicate files, in case you need to delete those.

This assumes the files have exactly the same filename other ways it won't work.

Handy tool for some though!

Deezer is annoying me, when I load a song it tells me I need a premium subscription, which I have, anyway Spotify works.
 
Already aware of this, and Dev Team is on it
 
are the tracks in spotify loading slow for anyone else
 
just created a deezer account to try the speeds there got a premium subscription. when i load onto either deck a track comes up with an error message.

They load slow for everyone but apparently its not VDJ's fault ...... Good luck.
 
Any ideas about the deezer error

i suppose the deezer loading error is because they are sorting out the problem regarding premium accounts
