CU, Service Interruption, January 10th.
One of our content partners, iDJPool, has just informed us there will be a short interruption to their service on January 10th.
Due to a server hardware upgrade, some of the CU service will be limited for a short time while their servers are undergoing the upgrade. The hours estimated for the upgrade are between 9am to 12pm CDT (GMT – 5), January 10th.
This upgrade is a scheduled upgrade by our partner to make their own server park future proof for years to come.
We apologize for any inconvenience during the downtime. Our partner has made sure to find the best possible day, and time of day, to cause the least amount of interruptions to the service.
We do not host any streaming content on our own servers.

After the upgrade will we have a larger music database? Are any of the providers changing?

The first part of the question should probably sent to iDJPool, since it's their content and their upgrade (as far as I can tell):

The second part of the question is valid for VDJ, though. My guess would be: Probably not as part of this upgrade, since it's all iDJPool

My content unlimited music hasn't worked for a month. I was waiting for a software update to fix it. Hopefully it'll come back on tomorrow.

Opened VDJ and it shows that I don't even have a CU license! Went into "pissed-off" mode and have lodged a ticket with Sales. Now I see this message - am I correct in assuming that the license indication requires a server connection?

Hi I am stilling using VirtualDJ 7.4.7. Pro software and having no problems at all, working well broadcasting well.

I've been having some issues with my unlimited content for the past few month. haven't been able to pull at many as before with song titles and artist. I just get a lot of other remixes. I checked for my settings. I had everything on my laptop before, but since I've change to my desktop, the Unlimited Content had changed, unable to find ones that I used to play on my show. So is there something different with setting from laptop to pc?

Are any of the songs older songs?
Then you were probably using Netsearch and not Content Unlimited
Netsearch was a free add-on to Content Unlimited, but for legal reasons it's not included anymore

It's working fine for me
If you are looking for older content, that used to be part of the free Netsearch add-on, which was discontinued for legal reasons
But if you are not getting any result at all for top-40 songs you should raise a ticket

Can someone please tell me exactly why content unlimited has lost most of my music lists? what are we paying for?

Because that part wasn't Content Unlimited. That was Netsearch - a free add-on that grabbed content from the internet, like from Youtube
Netsearch was discontinued a few months ago for legal reasons
