Topic: Why are some of my videos green?
Videos I have played several times before are now completely green. Audio plays fine, just the display is solid green. (same thing on 4 different laptops).

Go to SETTINGS->OPTIONS tab and search for DXVA and disable it. does this resolve the issue?

Already disabled. I've been working on this for days!!

Possible to share one of the videos?

I have this with .vob and sometimes with .m4v, but only while loading. (MAC)

Braenzu

I only get this with VDJ video edits I've made and I don't have my hard drive hooked up so the video that's associated with that video isn't there.

Are these edits??

I notice this also in the skin deck preview (but did not bug me to much), only while loading (mp4). After it load, all is good.

Have DXVA on. But not a biggie for me cause it's fine after it loads.

Guys, try sharing a video file.

Sorry for the late response, not sure if my job loves me, or hates me. Either way, they keep me there. Where can I send a video to?

If possible, use dropbox or similar and send me the link in a private message.
Thanks

I experienced something very similar using the slideshow visual to play an ambient fireplace scene. I had the video as an .mpg and I even tried converting it to an .mp4 with the same result, a totally green screen. I haven't been on vdj.com in forever and literally just came now to find out if this is a known issue.

Has anyone found a solution yet? I apologize for my absence, I took a fall while working. (broke right elbow, two bruised ribs, hip bone contusion and a few stiches in my head)

Is there a way to roll back to a previous version of VDJ? I didn't have issues before updating.

Videos green.... its Christmas !

Nobody has a fix for this yet? I have a number of videos - mp4, that used to play fine and now they don't. They play fine in VLC player. I guess it is the video file, but how do I fix it? What changed?

@davelo are you running the latest version of VDJ 8?

if so i am sure you will have to gives the DEVs one of these files so they can see what is happening.
