I have a load of backing tracks and started last night to use the video editor to overlay lyrics so they can be used for karaoke. Works really well. However, some files seem to have an embedded image which gets set as the background and I cant seem to remove it. I tried changing the picture tag in the tag editor, this then set the tag picture as the background picture in the video editor. I cant figure out how to get rid of it and just have the black screen. Any help welcome.

At the moment this cannot be selected in the video editor.
Did you try to remove the picture from the tag instead of selecting a new one?
As a workaround you could just use a black picture in the video editor.

Hi Adion, Thank you for the reply. I did think as a last resort i could tag with a black image.
What does not make sense though is that all of the files have an image tag, but only some set it as the background. I do not need there to be any image tag for the tracks though so if i can just remove the picture tag completely then I will try that. I could not see how to remove the picture tag though, only to change it. Do i need to change the setting which gets tags automatically? or how do i remove it?

When you open the tag editor and click the cover, the first one shown should be 'Tag'. Click on this one and you should get a drop-down where you can select to remove the image from the tag.
