Topic: What is the diffrence between the music note icons with the green star versus the ones without the green star on top?
A question about music icons that are on the side of each music track and why some have a little green star on top and some are just the plain icon.

Please read the manual. In particular page 36 (hint hint).
 
Green star is new tracks, or less then a week old.

Contains a table showing 144 Default Skin Icons and their meanings.
In this example:
A1 -> Music Note = Audio File
+
A11 -> Green Star = New (in database) File
...So you're actually seeing two icons displayed in this example.

Alternatively you could see A2 -> Film Strip = Video File or A3 -> 🎤 Microphone = Karaoke File, etc, etc.
