Topic: Key Change Not Working Correctly

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have noted that instead of a key change we are getting a speed change.

This is totally NOT cool!

In 8.1 i could change key without affecting the speed.

I don't see this issue. My tempo stays the same even when a do a KEY +12

The video i put up last night on the VDJ FB page, in which I play with keys, also shows that the tempo stays the same:

I can assure you that if you listen you will hear the track slow down and speed up, and while there are no visible indications of a change in speed when i run my metronome I can hear it.

Ok, if it's a tiny bit, I can't say that I'm sure. I thought you ment like if you were using a turntable pitch

When I play 2 tracks synchronized and change the key on one they still stay synchronized for me, no drifting here.

Definitely not working properly here you can hear it slowing as you step down and speeding up when you step up
