why does vdj store the history in the playlist window and how can i turn it of???

You must have hit the repeat playlist option in the middle of the record case. Turn that off and when you drop a song in it will no longer add it to the playlist... Btw there may be a bug with that option. I think it should reset itself when you exit VDJ for now I don't think it does.
