Topic: Songs not appearing in browser

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have added all songs (Mac internal hard drive and external hard drive) to the search DB. The next time I set up all songs may not appear when doing a search. I know you can do recurse and that should fix the issue, however doing that on 100k songs is quite time consuming. Especially if I'm already live at the event.

Any tricks or suggestions to get around the recurse or how to speed it up?

Right next to the search box is a dot or cog. Click on it and make sure "Search on drives" is checked.

Can you spot at least one track that should be provided in Search results and its not ?
If yes, then locate the track on its actual folder, right-click open Tag Editor and post a screenshot.

There is a chance e.g. to Search for Artist/title but those fields are empty and you would have to add Filename in the Search options in case the Tags are not updated (or vice versa)
