Topic: Sometimes waveforms does not load fully

Hello,
I play only music videos (mostly HD and full HD) for years with VDJ 8 but recently I've got a problem of songs (video files) not loaded fully. Waveform cuts off at some point. If I let the track play until that point, it just silences. It's not certain video file or anything, If I clone the deck, It loads it partially as well, but If I unload both decks and then load the same track again, It get loaded fully. I cannot reproduce the problem, it just happens few times during the 5 hours gig. It is annoying because Only thing I can do is to mix to next song before the waveform cuts off.

I think the problem started to occur when I bought and started to use a new 5 TB external harddrive (my previous 3 TB drive was getting too full, I have 17 000 music videos).

Have you notice if this happens with tracks that you have played with version 8 before ? or with tracks never played with version 8 ?
 
I had that issue a long time ago, and don't remember how it was solved. What version of VDJ are you using, build number, and OS?
 
i see this problem when use more videosamples in loop
about a anìmate graphic title
just after 1 hour borned some memory problems, and incomplete waveform loaded
audio (with milkdrop active) or video file worked

I've seen this in Ver 7. Check to see if your tracks are VBR. If so you may want to change the load tracks longer than option to be more than 15min long. This typically happens with songs purchased through Amazon, iTunes etc..
