Topic: works as plug and play on one computer but not on the other.. strange

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have two computers for djing one as a laptop for small events and to make play list .The other is a jacked on steroids touch screen loaded to the teeth. I bought a DN-HC1000s and plugged it in and it worked instantly on the touch screen. I then plugged it into the lap top and none of the led worked or any of the buttons.. I searched this all over the place and still no luck any advice..
