Topic: Removed song duplicates, edited tags, and reorganized music in iTunes. Now I am stuck with hundreds of songs that don't play in VDJ 8.1

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am sure this has been asked before but it is so tedious trying to sort through answers in other peoples forums. Any help would be appreciated.

I have edited and deleted a bunch of music out of my iTunes library so that i could remove duplicates and have the best versions of songs in my library.

Now in VDJ 8.1 all of these songs are still there with old tags - and don't play
They are still there even though they were deleted entirely - and don't play
There are too many for me to go through and manually edit and remove each song from the DB.

I am a Mac user using El Captain with VDJ 8.1

Thanks so much for your help! I am stressing :(
