hey guys,

i am starting a internet radio station slot (hopefully) and am looking for help setting up my Denons.

i have 2x Denon SC2900, going into a Reloop RMX 22i mixer, into a Pioneer RMX 500, into the Behringer sound card and that splits into my laptop via USB and into the amplifier via RCA.

i have tried Audicity and it works totally fine when recording from my hardware, i just for the life of me cannot get the 2900's to play music through virtual dJ (I have also just signed up for the monthly subscription Pro for VDJ).

any help asap would be great thanks!

What are you playing on the 2900s? CDs? MP3s from a flash drive? Timecode?

How are you connecting the 2900s to VDJ for "playing music through VDJ"?

To control VDJ from the 2900s you will need to either use USB MIDI control (USB cable from each 2900 to VDJ) or a timecode signal fed to VDJ from the 2900 audio outputs.

thanks for the quick response.

i am using the ENGINE software to cue music. the decks are connected through USB into the pc.

i can click the MIDI button and it says connected to PC but nothing happens and all control from the 2900 are gone?

Where? On an iPad or your PC?

If you're running it on the PC and your 2900s are connected to that, I wouldn't expect them to work in VDJ at the same time.
