Topic: Press play on my controller, results in the track rewinding?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

anyone have any ideas?

The right deck is fine, but for some reason the left deck... you press play and it rewinds the track?

what controller?
are you using default mapping?

not sure why you would use the ergo mapper to control a SR they are very different devices.

I would try the default SR mapper and see if the issue goes away .. it is natively supported in vdj7 and 8 so no reason not to

Probably the reverse mode is enabled on the left deck.
You can try to assign the action reverse to a custom button and use that button then to disable the reverse mode.
