It is the default skin.
Either go to options and select the VDJ 8 skin, or just click on the area next to the jogwheels.

It's a "stripped down" version of the 2 Decks default skin for those who launch VirtualDJ 8.1 for the first time. Just some very basic mixing and Browser functions without all the bells and whistles not to scare newbies away :P

ooooh... was wondering if we can manipulate an actual skin rather than the build skin. that's what kind of stuffed me up last time with the key panel lock... had to go into V7 skin to realise that key lock was on lock and delete the build skin
