Topic: Numark NS7 2 won't properly turn on properly.... only 3 lights come on , on each side - tap, set and clear

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I may be missing something here but recently, whenever I turn on my Numark ns7 2 controller only the tap,set and clear lights come on. After 15 minutes of trying it will finally leap into life. My laptop is extremely capable of running the Virtual dj software and I am not a technical dimwit but I feel I am missing something very simple here -_- ... any help would be greatly appreciated :D

Is it just the LEDs that dont turn on, or the entire unit doesnt work at all when you launch VirtualDJ ?
Try to replace the USB cable and try a couple different USB ports too.
