Hey there,
When I press CMD + V within the tag editor, the screen switches to the previous track, instead of pasting the clipboard. Can I prevent that somehow? I could not find the corresponding setting in the controllers menu.

Doesn't happen with Windows. So I think that is a bug.

Cant reproduce here on both WIndows and Mac. Which build are you using ?
CMD+V or CTRL+V pastes the clipboard content here , and if no field is focused it pastes to the first top field (Artist)
Have you mapped CMD+V to some action on your keyboard ? By default its mapped to open/close the Video, but if the Tag Editor is focused then the assigned action shouldnt matter. Do you also have other VDJ "windows" opened at the same time ? Maybe something "behind" the application ?

Or maybe you didn't reply press CMS properly.
Pressing V is the default action for previous in many applications.
