Topic: New problem with El Capitan began with El Capitan install on Imac

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

My new problem began with the download of El Capitan. The 'relocate missing file" option only discovers the songs showing as 'grayed out'. My work around is to use the VDJ search pane, find the song, and replace it with the one that is missing. This began with El Capitan. (FYI, If i search for the song in the MAC Finder, outside of VDJ, there is no graying out of song titles.) IF this is my problem and not a bug, and if anyone knows how to fix it, please let me know.
