Topic: Windows 7 cannot locate VDJ8 recorded mp3 sessions

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

The title says it all.

After recording a mix, if I go through VDJ8 to locate the mix I created, I see it in "My Music".

However, once i close VDJ8 down and attempt to open the mp3 file in Soundforge, Audacity, or even to look at the file in Explorer, it is no where to be found. All other mp3's are seen in any spot in my computer. I need to open these in Soundforge but for the life of me cannot figure out why VDJ8 is the only program that shows these files exist. Windows is fine and I have no other problems with wav or mp3 files elsewhere. So is it how VDJ8 codes the mp3s? Does VDJ8 automatically make them hidden files? (This isn't the case by the way, I've already checked the folder settings).

Any insight would be very appreciated.
