Hi folks. This is not directly a Virtual DJ question but since it's related to audio I thought there is probably expertise in this forum to help me understand something.

Firstly let me describe my setup:

1. Dell laptop running Virtual DJ. Windows 10 running on laptop.
2. USB Dac (Peavey USB-P) connected to laptop. Left and Right channels of DAC connected to Allen & Heath mixer in two separate channels, panned Left and Right accordingly
3. Peavey device has stereo/mono switch which is set to stereo.

Ok now the anomoly I can't explain. If I am putting out stereo from Virtual DJ, and I am putting out stereo from the Peavey DAC, and I have the two channels on the mixer panned left and right, then how come when I press the PFL button on one of the channels, say the left channel, both the left and right meters register. I would have thought that only the left meter would register for the left channel on the board and only the right meter would register for the right channel on the board. I don't understand where the stereo separation is if the sound from one channel of a stereo pair of channels is going to both sides when monitored.

Can someone help me out here?

Thanks ............ Rob
