Topic: Video Lag, but only on a few videos

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I've been running fine up until a week or two ago. I have been running MP4 720P videos. I have a couple of video files that now lag when they did not before. The audio starts a few seconds before the video, so on each of them the audio is ahead of the video. If I play the same files in iTunes or quicktime, etc the video plays in sync. Tried replacing the files from a backup, rebuilt database etc... any ideas?

Do you have videoUseDXVA enabled in options?

I did not have it enabled. I enabled it, and there is no change. I did notice that when I play the files in windows media player, I am getting the same lag. I have to assume at this point that it is a issue with the files, vs a VDJ issue. or is a windows media issue as It is strange that quicktime/iTunes plays them correctly...
