Got message that new version was available to download so i did. All hell broke loose. All files became yellow and Error'd when loading, had to reload program and re-up authorization. Dragging songs to decks will freeze any action for about 10 seconds, then would resolve to normal, still doing it at random and ALL my settings went back to default, wtf?

Try re-installing the latest version again, but first backup your VDJ 8 settings XML file first into another folder.
Then delete the original one in your My Documents \ Virtual DJ folder \ delete Settings XML, then re-install.
The go to the VDJ options and check the box show advanced and set up all of you options again.
This should take care of the problems, unless you have other problems with your computer that need to be addressed also.
I just did the 2378 and it works perfectly with no errors except the folder Icon cache does not work yet.
