Topic: Script for a keyboard shortcut to reset the pitch

Hi all,
I would like to assign the F11 button so that it will perform a "pitch_reset" on the current masterdeck, is this possible?
if not I could live with using 2 keys, one for left deck and one for right deck, although one key would be easier for me.
I've been tryin for a while myself, but, I can't get my head around it, I'm looking for a keyboard shortcut that performs the same as if I was to rightclick on the dot in the middle of the pitch slider, instead of having to use the mouse.

2 options:

1. Resets the pitch instantly to 0%

Action:
pitch_zero


2. Slowly reset the pitch back to 0%

Action:
pitch_reset 2%

The paramater will reset the pitch 2% every second. Default is 1% / second.
 
Thanks Pach, but that's not quite working for me, it seems to only work on deck 1, when I hit F11 it only resets deck 1(left) if it's playing.
I'm trying something using the silversleek2 skin, and the master deck(or at least the little white M button) follows the volume slider, or the crossfader automatically, so I want the action pitch_reset to relate to the Masterdeck.

The action will work on the "active / selected" deck.

you can add deck 1

deck 1 pitch_reset 2%
or
deck 2 pitch_reset 2%
 
thanks Dan, but that's still not doing what I want... so I think i have to explain this more carefully;
On the silversleek2 skin, the little M symbol(masterdeck) changes according to the volume/crossfader level, and I want one keystroke(F11) to reset the pitch on that deck, I'm just trying to get around having to use the mouse to click on the middle pitch button on the active(master) deck each time.
Here's the scenario of what I would like;
Let's say I have Automix playlist playing on deck 2, mix out of it using Sync onto deck 1 which then changes the pitch and becomes the masterdeck according to the volume fader (I want to press F11 and does a pitch reset), then I mix back into my AM playlist on deck 2 which then syncs with deck 1 and then becomes the masterdeck(little white M) and I would like to press F11 again to reset the pitch on that deck.
It's not about the 1, 2, or whatever %, I'm just trying to script one key to "reset_pitch" on the masterdeck, whichever deck that may be at the time.
maybe this isn't possible, I was just looking for some help, 'cos I couldn't figure it out

or maybe I could make it easier;
a keyboard shortcut to reset the pitch on the active(now playing/master) deck.
omg, I sort of knew that this was too much to ask for.
 
This is a job for Locodog, anyway try..

deck active pitch_reset 2%

It will only work for the master deck, that is when the little M is illuminated.

Glad that you've got it now.
Anyway, I think the first action should have worked too.
Maybe the devs could elaborate why it was not.
