I did the update two days ago, and now when I am using the Tag Editor and press Escape, sometimes it quits the program entirely.
Fortunately, this has so far only happened while I'm at home editing tags on files, not while I'm at a gig. (I edit tags at gigs often, too...) If VDJ crashes while someone is singing, that would be disastrous.
Note: This isn't a crash with an error message. VDJ merely quits as if I had hit the Red "X" at the top.
I'm on a Mac with the current OS, Java, etc. updated.

in some cases there is an alternative keyboard mapping if its selected the program closes by hitting the esc key you might check and see if you are using the ALT keyboard mapper.

I've never used an alt keyboard mapper, don't even know how to get to it. How do I get there?

Open config - controllers.
Select keyboard in the left side and choose the mapper on the right side. Click the dropdown field open to see the available mappers.

It's set for "factory default Default" and I've never made any changes to here.
I scrolled through the list and there's nothing assigned to Escape.
Also, this is brand-new behavior. VDJ did not do this, even a single time, ever, previous to this update. Since the update, it's happened 6 or 7 times.

Please be so kind and try the following.
Backup the setting.xml onto USB stick or similar.
Next please delete the setting.xml under username/documents/virtualdj
Now please try it again without changing anything. Skin etc.
Does it work?
