Are you able to reproduce this?

Does it happen with one specific video?

Did you have effects running?

Could your system have been too hot.

You really need to provide more information about issues and they are impossible to try and diagnose at the moment.

Good call - hadn't noticed the overclock.

Unless it was a typo.

Have you overclocked you Graphics card? Is that water cooled also?

Have you been able to re-produce the issue?

the video card is air cooled . i dont overclock it as there's no need to .
the only time it overclocks it self is when im playing games

this is the 1st real go at mixxing video on vdj and im not sure whats going on

my cpu is the only thing thats water cooled by my own set up not a closed loop
under load im running 30 c

You're going to have to provide more information that that; I use a GTX760 in my primary dev machine with no issues and my gig laptop has a GTX770M again with no issues.

Try removing your settings.xml and retesting. If after that you can reproduce then please provide the information required for us to do so, along with other useful information such as the nVidia driver version, audio device and configuration, what type of files with what type of encoding, any effects or visualisations active etc - a lot more information than 'video locked up' because otherwise we can't help you ;)
