Hi everyone,
I have read a lot of posts regarding tagging mp3 files and VD not reading or updating them and am getting very frustrated with trying to clean up my music files. I like to have more that just artist and song title in my tags and have spent hours editing them with mp3tag.
In mp3tag all of my files and tags look correct, however when reading them into VD some are blank and some have missing parts.
I have tried reloading any file that does not read correctly but this does not always work. In some cases I can push the little arrow to update the tag, but in others the arrow is not there.
I have a fairly large collection and wondered if anyone has found a fix that will solve these tag issues.
Is there a particular tag editor or ID3 version that will resolve issues?
In general mp3 players my tags read ok, but in VD they do not.
Please help if you can

I am using ID3v2.3 which as your link confirms is what VDJ8 supports.

are u tagging only mp3 files?
also maybe u could upload one of the problem files somewhere so it can be examined
also u might see if one of the problem files is set to read only in the windows file explorer by looking at the file properties
