Topic: Snap Issue With Saved Loops Define In Seconds

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Please watch this video which shows the problem, although it may not be a bug: https://youtu.be/76K6K4CCMVs

I have previously reported the issue that Saved Loops defined by bars are not correctly marked when the loop region contains a Beat Grid Anchor (first 20 seconds of the video)...

In a bid to work around this I am going to define loops in seconds. When changing to seconds the initial value seems quite arbitrary which can have the effect of making the end of loop marker "jump" when being clicked on initially.

The end of loop marker doesn't snap to the grid but the start of loop marker does. Can this be changed to respect the snap check box? If I am playing 2 tracks in sync, ideally the loop wants to be snapped to the grid to stop the tracks drifting out of sync.

Hope you get what I mean, thanks.

Having experimenting with this some more, having beat lock switch on keeps the tracks in sync even if the loop isn't perfectly snapped to the bar marker which helps a lot.
