This has happened a few times now , and I am trying to figure out what the problems is . I am using pioneer ddj-sx Controller , I have the right side playing a song , and then I loaded the song on the left deck , and I see the song title , but it does not load the song and the left side of controller becomes unresponsive . I cannot even load another song on the left deck . So I have to turn off the controller and unplug the hard drive . Most of my collection of music are videos , I am thinking maybe its my hard drive , The drive I use is powered usb only . Do you think I need to a hard drive that is powered not by Usb only .

u could try a different usb cable on the drive or plug it into a powered USB hub might help if you are drawing too much juice ......

Well ever since I started using a Powered external hard drive I have not ran into any problems .
