I managed to import 72 samples in one sampler bank. After that sample slot 1-27 did not play.
But the one from 28 to 72 did work to play. I only managed to achieve this once, but I still wanted to mention it.
I had colums locked to 8 and appearantly succeeded to add 9 lines.
EDIT: It looks like if the pad layout is fixed at 8 colums you can add 9 lines (72 samples)
If the pad layout is automatic, only 8 lines is visible.

Yes I know, It should be. But it does accept up to 72 (bug)

Did you try to play them from list view, grid view or actions?

I tried them in list view with same result. Did not work to play.
For what it's worth to know, the bank which behaved strange was a "Project@8" zipped folder.
I added an unzipped sample file to one of the slots which before did not play - then it plays again! (with the new sample)
