Topic: what software is good for makeing music from scratch or new - Page: 2

If it's just a quick chop up or edit on a single track, I'll use Audacity. Most of my projects get done in Reaper. I like their workflow, and you can't argue with the price.
Plus, I can record 14 tracks at once with my Tascam interface and send midi out to record another 6 on my Tascam 788 all with the same timing.
Low system overhead and no reliability issues so far.
