Topic: Mixtrack quad... not working with Virtual LE that comes with it

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I plug it in do everything im suppose to do right now to the letter.. the mixtrack is plugged into the computer but will not recognize.. i dont get any sound and no response from the controller.. only lights that are lit up are the pads... volume controls do not work .. only thing that works is loading a song from my computer with the mouse and hit play.. the controller just does nothing! PLEASE HELP!!! Oh and im on a macbook pro running 10.10

In MIDI Studio (Applications-->Utilities->Audio Midi Setup ->Top menu->View Midi page), does the unit shows up with its name or as USB MIDI device ?
Keep also in mind that the unit is quite old and the Numark website mentions 10.6 & 10.7 Support.
