new os x yosemite version is not compatible with vertual dj. it needs an update plz fix it fast

I'm on 10.10 as well and it works like a charm.

What let you think it isn't compatible?
 

I'm even @ 10.10.3 (beta version) and it runs perfect on a macbook pro i5 retina 13inch.
 

I have a Macbook Pro OS is 10.10.2, Denon MC6000, and VDJ 7.4.2. The midi works but no sound out of the Denon MC6000. My sound is coming out of the Macbook Pro speakers. We need this issue resolved.
 

That's a simple audio routing issue. Go into Settings > Audio (should be the first option), and take a screenshot of that and paste it here. We will then tell you what to change.
 

The MC6000 should be plug & play, with a large obvious button appearing in the audio config when it's connected.

All that's required is to select that button, which tells VDJ to configure the audio for an MC6000. Job done.
 

He's using v7.4.2 so won't have that.

As above if it is coming out of your macbook speakers then you have the wrong audio config.

Mea culpa. I'm surprised that some folks are still using VDJ 7...
