Hello.
I am in the thinking of buying a PRO license.
What do I get?
Can I download both new version 8 and version 7 to the same computer?
What more can I download? Like skins, effect plugs?
A bit off-topic, but can version 8 use the same database file as version 7, getting the same info like cue-points, and such?
Thanks for a great software guys!

Yes with a Pro Infinity license you will have access to both versions in your downloads.

When you first launch Version 8 it will IMPORT the database from version 7. After this they are two separate databases and do not talk to each other.

Thanx for quick replies!
Is it possible to manually "sync" the database file(s) afterwards?
For example if adding cue-points in ver.8, and want to have the same change done in ver.7?
Does, a PLUS license contain the same possibilities to download except for only one controller supported?

No, the two databases remain independent. You can delete the V8 databse and then on the next launch it will re-import the database from 7.
But at the moment the two do not talk to each other.
The Plus license does the same except if you plan on using VirtualDJ for professional use - ie earn money from working, you will need to Pro Infinity license.

OK. That makes sense.
If I buy a PLUS license, can it be upgraded to a PRO license afterwards?

Currently there is no discounted upgrade from Plus to Pro.
Of course you can purchase Pro but this will be in addition to the cost of Plus.

@secretseven, Just download V8 and log in, I don't understand your problem.

i guess i'm just used to having the download under my account page, thanks for helping an old guy

The individual downloads were for the old VDJ method of registration, using serial numbers and several variations of s/w.
Now that VDJ 8 is the same executable for everyone, and just unlocks what's required when you log in, there's no need to have the download in user accounts.

Well if you've got Pro 7 you need to register it to your account here, as you're showing as a Home user.
Once you've registered it, simply log into VDJ 8 as you would log in here.
