Topic: Content Unlimited - Netsearch results won't download VDJ8

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

When searching for songs on content unlimited, the netsearch results (purple icon) will neither stream nor download to cache. An example would be "Devon Matthews - Million Jam". Tracks showing the red icon work just fine. I have VDJ8 pro, a content unlimited subscription and I have verified only set to no in the options. Am I missing something or is it like that for anybody else?

It is fixed in v8 b2144 (so currently only in beta builds) onwards.

worked fine up till today
v8.0.0 pc build 2139.934

I am currently having the same problem. I am doing most of my playlist builds in a new Mac Mini with VDJ 8 running Yosemite but am starting to go back to my older Mac Book Pro with VDJ 7.

Netsearch is broken in v7 as it hasn't been updated to include the latest netsearch changes.

any idea when the service will be back up and running.
same as others yields and error when attempting new songs. It was working fine id say a few days ago for me. but not No such luck. anything that I can maybe try if it is felt to be on my end.

Hi guys,

It's April 2015 and I still have this problem, anyone know of any fixes yet? Purple tracks won't work at all, downloaded or streamed. Red work, but impossible to find.

Macbook Pro i5 13-in Retina
Flash Storage
VDJ 8.0.0 mac build 2191.966
