trying to use vdj8 and it wont connect to the vdj servers for login, wont work for vdj login or google login, it didnt work on vdj7 either but it didnt mater much, but on vdj8 its very important, i was sent a link to a fixvdj tool and it just said host file was not changed, i am now angry and want to know how to fix this thing i paid for immediately

Sounds like you we're using a hacked version previously and need to clean out hosts file
There is a utility for that not sure if le users can download that or not.

You haven't purchased a license for v8 against this account; your LE license is only valid for v7.
With regards to the login, please open a command prompt (or terminal on Mac) and type this command:
ping live.virtualdj.com
Copy and paste the output from that into a post here.

i got vdj 7 le with my hucules 4mx console and had many problems with it already running it on windows 7 and 8, i downloaded vdj 8 and am trying to upgrade to the full licence so i can use my console but cant login usung my vdj login or my google login, i tried editing the host file, as drected in a thread on this forum but cant because the host file is in use by a wrsvc , i have been djing raves since 1995, the problems of digital djing are rediculous, someone please help me out with this so i can get back to djing

recent upgrades to vdj fixed this issue today and i can log in normally now
