Had this happen 3 or 4 times now any idea how to solve thx? I had to force laptop shutdown to clear fault.

Please check if you have DirectX drivers installed:
DirectX 9C Runtime:

Microsoft VC++ 2008 Runtime Libraries:

and also the latest drivers of your video card

Never had runtime errors in all the past years.
Sometimes a Windowas Update can cause a issue.
So best is to check the Laptop befor a gig.
Normally this does not happen during a gig.
