Topic: Changing Artist/ Songs / etc to a diverent colour in playlist or browser...Is there an easier way?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I noticed ever since VDJ 8 came out that you can change the color of your playlist (Artist, Song, BPM etc)....However only individually and manually. Is there a way to change your whole playlist with just one click??? I like to change the color to all songs but since I have over 3000 songs I sort of don't want to bother as you may imagine Way Too Much Work. Is there an easier way? (Oops typo I meant to write Different under topic heading)

just select several tracks, and edit the color.
 
select several tracks...how do you do that is that sort of a computer/ keyboard shortcut?
 
High lite one song, and hit shift key and down arrow key all the way until you want to stop
 
or create a filter folder of the desired tracks, when all dispalyed in the VDJ Track Browser, press Ctrl + A

Click, hold shift, click selects a continuous block
Click hold Ctrl, click selects/deselects non continuous
