Topic: Sampler - How to create Audio Samples Automated - An easy way?

Hi,

I want to create some audio samples for use in the sampler.

I have converted my MP3 to ogg format - but I need to add the Binary Header that is required by VDJ so that it can be recognised and play correctly.

I wish to automate this process as I have quite a few to do.

Has anyone else achieved this?

Plus it would be nice to auto-create the XML file that sets out the samples so that they display in the right sequence in the sideview panel.

Currently I am doing this by hand - surely there is a better way?

You don't need to convert your samples.

Just use the original files. The sampler will play them. They don't need to be in the VDJ format.

I am sure I can automate the XML file using some basic text tools
