I just opened the box and am trying to start using my MixtrackII.
When I try to start using the program, it says I need to register my serial number. When I enter the actual serial number on my device, I am told that the number is incorrect.
Do I need to get a virtual DJ license number rather than a device serial number?

The hardware device serial number of the MixTrack Pro II itself cannot be used.
If it came with VirtualDJ LE included then the software serial number can normally be found on the sleeve of the VirtualDJ LE installation CD. Sometimes it may be a separate sticker on the manual or even the device itself. If you cannot find the serial number or it's missing, please contact support.
If the MixTrack II didn't come with VirtualDJ LE included (I.e: It came with other DJ software instead) then you will need purchase VirtualDJ to be able to use it with VirtualDJ.
