Topic: MixVibes U-Mix Control 2 (no pro) mappings for VDJ 7 and 8

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi,
I've made mappings for MixVibes midi controller. There are two versions: for VDJ 7.4 and the newest 8. Both work pretty fine.
Here's the link:

Few things to know about my mappings:
1) The +/- Bend buttons under tempo are set to serve as seek with beat and sync preservation. Goes back by 2 beats and by 1 forwards.
2) Jogs wheels work, but only as pitchbend (relative to tempo procentage). If the pitchbend is too small or too big you can adjust by changing the range of tempo.
3) To change the tempo range press Shift button.
4) The 1, 2, 3 hot cue buttons are programmed and the "Select" button deletes the selected hot cue.
5) The knobs that adjust the amount of effects in Cross are here to adjust only the filter. Still useful.
6) In VDJ you can reset the tempo to its original. However I haven't programmed aby button do it. Instead use the tempo slider since it kinda locks itself right in the middle of range.
7) You can use the "Browse" knob to scroll upon your tracks. When pressed it will load the track to the last used deck. You can also use the Load A/B buttons to load the track into a specific deck.

Feel free to modify these mappings as you wish. Let me know, so I'll test it and perhaps upload your version if it's better :)
Have a nive day!

P.S.
Excuse my english if I haven't made sth clear. Best if you just try it ^^

Please do not share mapping files with users who have no permission to download them from our website. If you wish to share your work with our licensed users, please upload that here.. http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/upload.html

Also keep in mind that mapping a device as Simple MIDI makes absolute no sense, as this may not work with all users, and all Os systems and of course it may also conflict with another MIDI device that a user may have. If you wish to offer something 100% working, you will need to create a proper definition file .. http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Controller_Definition.html

OK. Sorry.
