I liked aspects of the effects page of 7V and want to make an improved version for V8.
Do I just make the browser into a panel and make my 'fx page' a panel too?

I was looking at the way the touch screen view in the default skin works, and it's very much in the style of VDJ 7 in that the lower half of the GUI is 'swapped out' for an FX section, a sampler section and so on.
I reckon that could be a way of getting some of the old skins (with the four browser tabs) to work with VDJ 8.

Oh yes, I'd forgotten about that, thanks.
I reckon if I could have visuals for which effect is on (out of the 26 VSTs I regularly use) and 40 or so dials, I'll be very happy.
Also I want to make a VST button/slider discovery page with a stupid amount of dials and buttons for the default effect, to help me figure out scripting those complex VSTs (If I could script Glitch2 I would be stupidly happy but might have to buy an extended Chinese keyboard)
