Hello, all. I have a little problem that I'm hoping someone can help me with.
I'm upgrading to Virtual DJ 8 from VDJ 7 on Windows 7, and I'm using the Hercules DJ Control MP3 e2 controller. I updated the drivers, and the buttons and all seem to work just fine. Except that the buttons should light up, and they don't. Given that I use this controller in dark environments, this is an important feature to me. I tested it back in VDJ 7, and it lit up just fine, so I'm pretty sure it's not the drivers.
Anyone else seen this? Any insight for me on how to fix it?
Seth

This has been fixed already, but maybe your software is not updated.
Launch version 8 on a computer connected to the Internet, leave it idle for a few minutes, relaunch and make sure you see a build number ending at .671 or higher on the top of the CONFIG window of VirtualDJ

So I fire up VDJ 8 to get the update...and the lights came on. Apparently the update applied.
Thanks for the help!

Hercules Drivers can be downloaded from https://support.hercules.com/en/cat-djcontrollers-en/
The fix for the Leds is already available in VirtualDJ 8. Just make sure you are running the latest update/build. http://www.virtualdj.com/download/index.html
