I'm not sure if this is just on my machine but when I select 2 deck mode using the Combat skin, the Tab key still cycles through all 4 decks. This means that I can actually load a song onto deck 3 & 4 even though I cannot see them. On the default skin, the Tab key only cycles between the 2 active decks.

Yes, that is correct. the TAB key will cycle through the available decks of the skin. The COMBAT skin is a 4 decks one, even though you are able to see just 2 if you choose, and the Default 2 Decks skin is a pure 2 decks ones.
