Using MP3Tag to edit my file names and it does not change in VDJ!
Sometime I buy music from different remix Services. I re edit the file tags using MP3Tag and Song & Artist info show up correctly in this program,
they also show up as I edited them on a USB flash drive.
Load these them into VDJ and bam all of the original tag info such as (Example:stupiccrazyremix.com) is still showing up in the artist column!
Does anyone have a solution or fix for this? Funny thing is, it only seems to be the Artist column having issues.
This makes it hard to search by artist when people ask me to play anything buy a certain artist.
I am willing to buy an MP3 tag editing program if it will get the job done!
I have no clue how to find hidden info in an MP3 tag at all and obviously it is not being removed even though I re typed it and saved it.
Any help out there?
Thanks in advance!

If you are on a Mac, Metadatics works VERY well.

It's probably down to VDJ reading from ID3 v1 tag versions before ID3 v2.
If the files have data in both v1 and v2 and your tagger of choice only writes to v2, then VDJ will read the data from the v1 tags first, meaning your new data (in the v2 tag) doesn't show.
Solution: Either delete the v1 tags or write the new info to both v1 and v2 tags.
This issue has been raised in the past with Atomix, but going by what you say it looks like they've not changed it. Hopefully VDJ 8 will give v2 tags priority.
